Access to VMware IT Academy courses and software downloads is only available after a multi-step registration process.
To get started, please contact the NWZ hotline via email. Please note that registration is only possible with your WWU email address (@uni-muenster.de or @wwu.de).
You will then be placed on a participant list by a program administrator and receive an invitation email to register for the D2L portal with the service provider Brightspace.
Enter your WWU email address to which the invitation was sent.
Choose a password that does not match your WWU password.
Enter your first and last name.
Confirm the terms and conditions of participation.
You can subscribe to an email newsletter (optional).
Then click on Create Account.
You can go ahead and download the software from VMware now. To do this, click the "Back" button twice in the browser to return to the second previous web page.
Go to "Step 2" and click on "MyVMware Portal" to create a myVMware account. You only need to do this once and if you do not have a myVMware account yet. For further products you can use the direct link from the list "Direct Links for Software Downloads" on the right.
