Hrushovski established a correspondence between definable groupoids and internal covers, using the notion of binding groupoids. It was later shown to be an equivalence of categories by Haykazyan and Moosa. They also managed to extend it to the case of 1-analysable covers with independent fibers. There was a suggestion to treat the more general case of 1-analysable covers using simplicial groupoids. In this talk, I will present the internal case, describe how the suggestion can (hopefully) be realised, and give a few examples.
