Second edition of the source reader and working paper on insolvency law published
Two new volumes have been published in the EViR Working Papers open-access series. EViR Working Paper 20, ‘Der Zwangsvergleich in der deutschen Konkursordnung von 1877: Ein Beispiel für Einheit und Vielfalt des Konkursrechts’ by Ulrich Falk, focuses on German bankruptcy law. Ulrich Falk examines a model of resolution which, in German bankruptcy law since the end of the 19th century, has been referred to as the ‘compulsory composition’. It represents an example of the narrowly bounded model diversity of German and European bankruptcy law, which must be distinguished from the greater diversity in its concrete legal manifestation.
Working Paper 22 is the second issue of the Münster Source Reader on Unity and Diversity in Law, edited by Peter Oestmann, Ulrike Ludwig, Sophia Mösch and Nora Markard. This source reader, which will be successively expanded, collects and discusses visual and textual materials to promote an interdisciplinary understanding of legal phenomena. The second volume contains contributions by Peter Oestmann, Hesi Siimets-Gross, Maciej Mikuła and Raquel Gil Montero, which deal with German, Estonian, Polish and Ecuadorian sources.
The EViR Working Papers
The EViR Working Papers are a digital and printed series to publish current research reports, conference papers and joint working papers. It is interdisciplinary and intertemporal in nature and offers a good insight into the diverse research topics of the Kolleg. As an open access publication, it can be accessed via the University’s publication server miami as well as via the website of the Kolleg.
