Scientists from several research networks at the University of Münster and their international guests are sharing new insights and ideas in inflammation research and immune system imaging this week (7 to 9 September). 

The focus of this year’s symposium is on systemic inflammation, marking the successful completion of the University of Münster’s Clinical Research Unit ‘Organ Dysfunction during Systemic Inflammation’ (CRU 342). After six years of funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG), the network provided a look back on its work and an outlook on future research projects.

Other networks involved in organising the conference include the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1450 inSight, the CRC-TRR 332 Neutrophils, the Clinician Scientist Programme CareerS, the Medical Scientist Programme InFlame, the Translational Centre for Inflammation (TRACI) and the Cells in Motion Interfaculty Centre at the University of Münster.
