On occasion of the junior research group leader symposium Elisabeth Knust and Nils Brose came to Münster to present their research and to support the steering committee.

As keynote speaker Elisabeth Knust from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden opened the symposium with her lively talk about  'Epithelial cell polarity and morphogenesis - the Drosophila perspective'. The second part of the meeting startet with the keynote lecture from Nils Brose from the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine in Göttingen about 'Dynamic control of presynaptic transmitter release - the other type of synaptic plasticity'.

The Cells in Motion Cluster of Excellence will now be supported by nine international known and visible researchers.
