New Dean of the Department of Biology

The department council has unanimously elected Prof. Dr. Jürgen Gadau as the new dean on 06.10.2021. After 4 years in office, the current Dean, Prof. Dr. Susanne Fetzner now officially hands over her office.

Mr. Gadau had already been Vice Dean for Structure, International Affairs and Transfer for one year. The department was able to recruit Prof. Dr. Eva Liebau for this office. Both have been elected for the remaining term of office until October 2023. The department congratulates the new dean and the new vice dean.
