Studi-Kidz-Café
The Studi-Kidz-Café is organised several times a semester by the equal opportunity representative from the group of students, the Social Counselling Office of the Student Support Services, and the AStA of the University of Münster and the AStA of the FH. The regular meetings over coffee and biscuits are intended to give students with children the opportunity to exchange ideas with other student parents about child-rearing and studying, to get to know each other and to make new contacts. Pregnant students and expectant student fathers are also warmly invited. While the adults exchange ideas, the children can play together and at the same time get a first taste of university life. The dates for the summer semester have not yet been set but can soon be viewed on the page of the Equal Opportunity Office.
Appointments advisor for studying with children (AStA) [de]
The appointments advisor is held by Tatjana Puschkarski and Laura Höh. Balancing studying and responsibility for children is not always easy. That is why since June 2020 there has been the appointments advisor for studying with children at the AStA. It advocates for student parents at the university to network and to be advised. In addition, they aim to ensure the compatibility of studying and children at the university. The appointments advisor also organises events for students with their children on topics such as upbringing and parenthood.
