University of Münster ranks among the top ten universities in Germany
Shanghai University released the 2021 "Academic Ranking of World Universities"
In the recently published "Academic Ranking of World Universities" 2021, the so-called Shanghai Ranking, the University of Münster ranks again among the top ten universities in Germany and is listed rank seven to ten. It ranks 151 to 200 in an international comparison, as in the previous year. Altogether, 1000 universities worldwide were evaluated.
The "Shanghai Ranking" has been evaluating university research achievements worldwide since 2003. The ranking list was developed at Jiaotong University (Shanghai/China). The focus of the ranking is on research. Evaluation indicators include scientific publications and citations as well as high-ranking awards such as Nobel Prizes or Fields Medals.
