University of Münster ranks again among the top ten universities in Germany
In the recently published "Academic Ranking of World Universities" 2020, the so-called Shanghai Ranking, the University of Münster ranks among the top ten universities in Germany and is listed rank eight to ten. It ranks 151 to 200 in an international comparison, as in the previous year. Altogether, the best 1000 universities worldwide were evaluated.
The "Shanghai Ranking" has been evaluating university research achievements worldwide since 2003. The ranking list was developed at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Compared to the previous year, the University of Münster improved in the areas of "frequently cited researchers", "publication rates in Nature and Science" and "publication rates in the Science Citation Expanded & Social Science Citation Index".
