Free Meals for Children

Students with children can apply for a certificate granting them free meals at cafeterias in Münster. In order to apply, you need to bring a copy of the birth certificate, the current approved semester application as well as personal ID or passport to the welfare counseling of the Studentenwerk Münster (Gescherweg 80, 48161 Münster). Further details and other aids for students with children can be attained here:

Parent-Child-Room (Nursing and Nappy-Changing Room)

All parents studying physical education have access to a well-kept parent-child room. It is located in the building next to the library (Horstmarer Landweg 62). This room is comprised of a silent working area, a sink, comfortable seating opportunities and a changing table. There is also Wi-Fi available in the room, making it a great area for caring for as well as silently working with the child.
Diapers and other materials are available for “emergencies” but please try to bring your own when possible. If desired, please bring your own toys, since none are present in the room.
We hope that by providing this, we can help all parents cope with the difficult task of combining parenthood with studying.
With any questions regarding this topic, please contact Dr. Christiane Bohn at 83-39284.
