At a kick-off meeting, the scientific advisory board of the “Dual Career - Compatibility of Studying and Top-Level Sport” project was successfully established. The members of the advisory board are
- Jörg Förster and Benjamin Schenk (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband, adh),
- Ilka Seidel (German Olympic Sports Confederation, DOSB),
- Markus Kremin (Head of the Olympic Training Center, spokesperson for the “Dual Career” area),
- Bernd Brückmann (spokesperson for career counseling at Olympic training centers),
- Benedict Eggling (representative of the athletes),
- as well as Prof. Dr. Bernd Strauß, Dr. Barbara Halberschmidt and Laura van de Loo (project team at the University of Münster).
In addition to the founding of the advisory board, previous and future project steps were presented and the next steps were agreed.
