Two-part web seminar I English I Zoom

Once a year SAFIR offers two events for anyone who wants to submit an application to the DFG or is interested in general information about the application process. 

Part 1: DFG basics
Wednesday, 11 November 2026 I  12.15-1.45pm

The first part introduces the organisational structure of the DFG and its most important committees. The focus is on the application and review process.

Part 2: Question and answer session with DFG review board members
Thursday, 12 November 2026 I 12.15-1.45pm
Zoom I English

In the second part experienced DFG review board members will share insights on the decision-making sessions, give tips for good proposals and will be happy to answer questions you may have.

Target group: researchers who plan to submit a proposal to the DFG or would like to learn more about the proposal process in general.

The events will be held in English.
