Write your own DFG proposal with input and support from SAFIR Research funding support.

Take part in our writing workshop to write your own DFG proposal (e.g. a grant proposal for your own position or a proposal in the Walter Benjamin Program). We will meet on four dates and use the time to write key parts of the proposal. In addition, you will receive input and feedback from us on questions that arise during the writing process. Between the meetings, you will complete the relevant sections of your proposal and receive feedback from us at the end.

Possible key topics:
How do I develop the research objectives and the appropriate work program?
How do I describe and provide evidence of preliminary work?
How do I calculate and justify my project costs?
How do I make the best use of the DFG's CV template?

Dates of the writing sessions (on-site):
1st writing session: 28 April 2025, 10am-1pm
2nd writing session: 26 May 2025, 10am-1pm
3rd writing session: 23 June 2025, 10am-1pm
4th writing session: 14 July 2025, 10am-1pm
Feedback session: 15 September 2025, 10am-1pm
