Science prizes and awards are more than just a recognition of outstanding achievements - they provide important impetus for scientific progress, create incentives for excellence, promote new research projects and facilitate networking. For early career researchers in particular, such prizes can be decisive, as they make their research achievements visible at an early stage and support the start of a successful academic career.

Our new event series Meet the awardee provides comprehensive information about specific science prizes and awards twice a semester. In an open, personal atmosphere, our testimonials - prize winners and award recipients - will give you exciting insights on how the respective prize or award has had an influence on their careers, what challenges they have overcome along the way and how their academic career benefitted from the prizes and awards. Find out first-hand which steps lead to success and don't miss the opportunity to ask your questions.
