Board of Directors
The Cluster of Excellence “Religion and Politics” is headed by a board of directors which is elected for two years and consists of nine members from among the principal investigators and the research associates entitled to vote, as well as by the meeting of the principal investigators (PI). The board of directors represents the Cluster of Excellence in central university committees and in the appointment proceedings in the departments participating in the Cluster of Excellence. Prof. Dr. Detlef Pollack, religious sociologist, is the current speaker of the Cluster of Excellence. Prof. Dr. Barbara Stollberg-Rilinger, historian, is the current deputy speaker of the Cluster of Excellence. Organisational details will be dealt with in the bylaws of the Cluster of Excellence.
