IT Steering Committee
(Dissolved by entry into force of the IT governance on 12 May 2023)
The IT Steering Committee is responsible for ensuring the user-friendly and economic operation of the IT system as a whole and makes the necessary fundamental and individual decisions. The IT Steering Committee consists of
- the Rector or a Vice-Rector
- the Head of Administration
- the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
- the Chairperson of the IT Commission [de]
- the Head of the WWU IT
- the Head of the University Library (ULB) [de]
In addition, the Rectorate appoints four further members and their deputies, who are particularly qualified in the field of information processing and may also come from outside the university.
The IT Steering Committee has been directly assigned to the Rectorate since January 2003.
