Literature | Research | Praxis

The Graduate School Practices of Literature offers a structured doctoral program for all literary studies disciplines at the University of Münster. Its central research focus is the dynamic relationship between literature, literary studies, and society. Additional focal areas include science studies as well as theories of literature. The program also examines the relevance and practical applications of literary expertise in diverse contexts, providing doctoral candidates with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in non-academic professional environments. The mission of the program is to bridge theory and practice through an interdisciplinary and intersectoral approach, treating them not as opposites but as interdependent elements of a dynamic exchange. Find out more about the GSPoL profile.
