Translational Research Network in Motor Disorder Rehabilitation (TReND)
Advancing understanding of variability in motor control and learning, to enhance clinical practice
Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions under Horizon Europe, TReND aims to enhance clinical diagnosis and rehabilitation of motor disorders such as stroke, Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s disease. By creating an interdisciplinary network of researchers, clinical practitioners and industry partners, the project addresses three key objectives: (1) investigating how different disorders impact sensorimotor systems, (2) developing innovative therapy concepts to treat motor disorders across different patient populations and (3) translating recent theoretical and methodological advances in motor control and learning research into clinical practice.
