Ecology and Evolution of Intraspecific Chemodiversity in Plants
The DFG-funded Research Unit combines field and laboratory studies with theoretical approaches to investigate why plants of the same species differ in the composition of their chemical compounds. Established in 2020, it aims to understand the emergence and maintenance of this chemical diversity and to elucidate its effects on the interactions of plants with their environment.
