Abstract: Abstract: In this lecture, I will give an introduction to the continuous K-theory of dualizable categories defined by Efimov, and explain how the functoriality of K-theory extends to a class of polynomial functors. This is work in progress with Thomas Nikolaus and extends earlier work with Barwick, Glasman, and Nikolaus.
