A conjecture of Fargues and Scholze predicts an upgrade of the local Langlands correspondence for GL_n to a derived equivalence between two sophisticated categories. Joint work with Eugen Hellmann aims at computing the K-theory of both categories. I will try to explain some of the ideas of these K-theory computations.
