Dear students,
We are happy to welcome you to our orientation events in winter semester for our degree programs. Here you can find an overview of your degree program, tips for creating your class schedule, and you can get to know your study advisors, who can help you with any questions about your degree program.
Information for new students in the Educational Science Bachelor of Arts, Winter Semester 2025/26
Dear new students,
Welcome to the Institute of Educational Science’s webpage.
To help support your start here, we will offer an orientation event at the beginning of the winter semester 2025/26.
The orientation event for the Educational Science Bachelor of Arts will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, between 12:00 and 14:00 in Lecture Hall H4 (Schlossplatz 46). It is conducted in German.
The responsible head of the degree program and the study advisor cordially invite you to this event.
Additionally, the Pedagogy Student Representatives will have an Info-Café for first-semester students. For more information, please consult their homepage.

Course schedule and registering for courses
You can access all information regarding creating your individualized course schedule for your first semester and for registering for courses via the orientation programs for your degree. For guidance, you can also check your study program’s website beforehand. This contains general information about the structure and content of your program as well as suggestions for a course schedule.
