EViR Insights: 2025/2026 Annual Report of the Käte Hamburger Kolleg
The Käte Hamburger Kolleg ‘Legal Unity and Pluralism’ has published its new annual report. Entitled ‘EViR Insights’, the report provides an overview of activities, fellows, research, events and publications during the 2025/2026 period.
The report once again highlights the thematic breadth of research at the Kolleg. This includes, for example, the legal situation of the Roma population in 19th-century Romania. This topic is also reflected in the cover image of the annual report. Other articles deal with medieval scholarly disputes, South African land reform and international law following the First World War. The thematic expansion of the Kolleg since the start of the second funding phase to include current law is reflected, amongst other things, in an article on the status of private care work under German labour law. Articles on the latest outreach projects and insights into life at the Kolleg complete the issue.
