Annual report of the Käte Hamburger Kolleg published
The Käte Hamburger Kolleg ‘Legal Unity and Pluralism’ has published its new annual report. The 120-page report provides a comprehensive overview of the Kolleg's activities in the period 2024/2025 and also takes a look back at the first funding phase (2021–2025).
The annual report provides information on activities, fellows, research, events and publications, as well as offering a wide range of insights into everyday life at the Kolleg. The topics covered include the recognition of indigenous perspectives on colonial law, the strategic use of justice by individuals and groups as well as the right of heads of state to grant pardons, which still exists today.
As in previous years, one focus is on the research projects based at the Kolleg. In the new ‘Favourite Sources’ section, fellows share their fascination for their topic and explain how they arrive at new insights based on empirical material. Articles about the Junior Fellows and their doctorates at the Kolleg, the latest outreach projects and important conferences round off the issue.
