Honour for CiM scientists

Prof. Lydia Sorokin, spokesperson of the Cells-in-Motion Cluster of Excellence, and CiM group leader Prof. Cornelia Denz are new members of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. Together with Prof. Martina Wagner-Egelhaaf from the Department of Philologies of the University of Münster and further 14 scientists, they were named members at the annual celebration in Düsseldorf on May 21st, 2014.

The North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts sees itself as an interdisciplinary society of scholars. It advises the state government in the promotion of science and art. Furthermore, it provides a platform for knowledge transfer and dialogue between science, politics and the public and gives statements on contemporary relevant issues.
