Münster CERes wants to give doctoral researchers and postdocs opportunities for interdisciplinary networking and, right from the start, welcome emerging researchers who are new to the University or to academic activities, and invite them to become part of the community and help to shape CERes as a place where people come together.

At the beginning of every semester we organise kick-off events for doctoral researchers and postdocs, providing you with information on the University’s structures and (service) offers and giving you ideas for how to shape your training phase and network with peers.

    DOCTORAL AND POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

“Max Linz has made an incredibly funny, because accurate (and therefore bitter) satire out of the university business, which is caught between the mania for third-party funding and the pressure to evaluate.” – Till Kadritzke, Spiegel Online, 16 February 2019

“What's your take on the university system?” This litmus test question alluding to Goethe’s Faust is not only asked at the beginning of the film Weitermachen Sanssouci (2019), but will also be the starting point for the subsequent discussion with the movie's director Max Linz, Polina Kashkarova (international doctoral researcher at the Graduate School of Empirical and Applied Linguistics) and Dr. Karin Siegel (research group leader at the Institute for Political Science).

    Admission is free.
