Cíntia Toth Gonçalves heads the Liaison Office of the Brazil Centre at the University of Münster in São Paulo

Since June 2025, Cíntia Toth Gonçalves is the head of the Liaison Office of the Brazil Centre at the University of Münster in São Paulo.
In this role, she serves as the main contact point for individuals in Brazil interested in academic collaboration or pursuing studies at the University of Münster. This includes academics, university representatives, funding organisations and government entities, prospective students and PhD candidates. She also assists researchers and Brazilian alumni from the University of Münster to build and maintain academic and professional networks in Brazil. Additionally, she organises informational events, delegation visits and participation in academic fairs to enhance the university’s profile locally. Furthermore, she is responsible for expanding the institutional network in Brazil and managing local public relations activities.
Cíntia Toth Gonçalves brings a strong academic background and international experience to the position. She holds a Master's degree in Management and Public Policy, as well as an MBA in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Over the past decade, she has worked in various positions with government agencies in Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Her career has included positions at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Centre for Research and Innovation São Paulo (DWIH-SP), the Goethe-Institut, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO), the British Council and the German Research Foundation (DFG).
