Admission procedures

for first-semester students

Start of programme: winter semester only

This is a restricted-admission subject. German candidates and others with equivalent qualifications must apply online for admission to the winter semester 2020/21. We are currently unable to provide information on the final application deadline. As soon as definite decisions have been taken, we will publish those under Dates and Deadlines. At the current point in time, we presume that the application period is going to be from 1 July 2020 until 20 August 2020.

Special application and admission procedures apply to international applicants (foreigners) who do not hold a German university entrance qualification and who are neither non-mobile foreign students (Bildungsinländer) nor citizens of an EU/EEC country. These applicants must apply for admission to the winter semester 2020/21 no later than 31 May 2020 (cut-off period). For more information, contact the International Office and the Student Admissions Office.
