Advice in the context of specific seminars

If you need advice in the context of specific seminars, you can first contact your lecturers directly. Lecturers will be happy to advise you on questions, for example:

  • Regarding specific coursework and examination achievements in the seminar or module
  • About attendance in the seminar and
  • Concerns regarding interaction in the seminar

Advice on Study Organization

The Sports Science Service Center is an information and advice center for students of the sports major regarding study organization. The Service Center's mission is to guide you through your sports studies and thus assist you with questions and problems related to the organization of your sports studies.

The Service Center provides advice on, for example,

  • Problems related to the QISPOS/SLcM examination administration system
  • Recognition of academic achievements from Germany and abroad
  • Placement into a higher semester
  • Choosing theoretical and practical courses
  • Processing hardship applications
  • Questions regarding the general organization of your sports studies
  • A planned change of degree program and study location

  • Questions about the sports aptitude test

Academic Advisory Service

Each department has academic advisors who are distinguished by their in-depth knowledge of the content and requirements of their subject's degree programs. They provide students with concrete support in successfully planning their individual course of study. The academic advisors for sports provide advice on questions such as:

  • The content of your studies, including possible specializations
  • Difficulties or special features regarding (re-)examinations

Student-to-student advice on topics related to your sports studies

If you would like to receive peer-to-peer advice on topics related to your sports studies, the Sports Students Body's Council is available to you as a student representative. If you have questions about organizing your studies from a student perspective, tips and tricks, for example, regarding practical exams, or suggestions from your own side, you can contact the Student Council in person (during office hours, by phone, by email, or via Instagram). The Student Council can also be a first point of contact for problems within your sports studies, where they will be happy to help and refer you to the right people if necessary. You can also submit anonymous complaints to the Student Council via the complaint box.
