School portraits for the EuPEO model schools in Germany completed

In the EuPEO (European Physical Education Observatory) project, partners from ten European countries are working together on joint educational reporting on the quality of school sports. The newly developed tools for students, teachers and school sports experts were tested in the individual countries. The project is carried out by the department of sport didactics in cooperation with the Willibald Gebhardt Institute and the German Sports Teachers' Association.
In Germany, 184 students from four schools took part in the questionnaire-based and motor-practical student testing. To give each school a detailed overview of their results, the project team created four individual, anonymous school portraits. These contain not only the general framework data of the school (ESQ), but also the tabular and written results of the students in the motoric tasks (EULAS-T), the spectrum of contents, goals and achievements of school sports from the students' point of view (EPQ), and the physical self-concept of all students. For a better classification of the results, the school and class scores from the four EuPEO model schools were compared with the German averages of the pilot study and subsequently summarized.
These portraits and the certificates for participation in the pilot study are expected to be awarded in autumn in a festive ceremony during the Multiplier Sport Event. Further information on the training will follow shortly.
