Job advertisement student assistant (4h per Week)

The Department of Sport and Exercise Psychology is looking for a student assistant to work 4 hours per week, starting on 1 March 2026. 

Future tasks include participation in the ATTACH-U research project at the Department. The project ‘Athletes' Transition Tools for Achieving Horizons – ATTACH-U’ is being carried out in collaboration with partners from Finland, Ireland and Norway as well as sports associations. It addresses the urgent need to support elite athletes in their transition from active elite sport to job life. Top athletes often face major challenges after their active careers, including loss of identity, psychological problems and financial insecurity. The project aims to improve the employability and lifelong learning opportunities of former athletes, promote their social integration and enable them to enter professions outside of sport. Workshops are being designed to provide support in this area. 

The work involves, among other things:

  • Assistance with data collection, data entry, evaluation and processing
  • Assistance with the organisation of workshops
  • Literature and web research
  • Other organisational tasks in the department (e.g. management of social media channels, website maintenance, etc.) 
This position is open to students of Sport and Exercise Sciences (education or BSc/MSc). Remuneration is in line with the standard rates for student assistants at the University of Münster.
