Module descriptions
Lehre im Studiengang Lehramt für sonderpädagogische Förderung im Sport, an der die AG Entwicklungsdiagnostik und -Förderung beteiligt ist:

  • M1 Introduction to the study of sports science

    Courses:

    • Lecture Introduction to the Study of Sports Science
    • Seminar Body Perception/Body Formation
    • Seminar Playing, Games, Sport

The module is the introduction to studying sports science in the first semester. In addition to basic theoretical concepts from sports science, practical approaches are provided in four different areas (doing sport, training sport, staging sport and studying sport), which are supplemented in the seminars by methodological and movement, play and sport experiences. The aim of the module is to acquire basic knowledge of sub-areas of sports science and to develop one's own understanding of the profession, also with regard to the further course of study. At the same time, motor skills and abilities and key competences such as presentation, communication and interaction skills should be acquired and reflected upon.

  • M2 Fundamentals of Development Theory

    Courses:

    • Lecture on developmental theory in sport
    •  Seminar on developmental theory from a natural science perspective
    • Seminar on developmental theory from a humanities and social science perspective

The lecture provides a theoretical introduction to special educational support in sport. In addition to subject-specific basic knowledge, scientific attitudes as well as rules of scientific thinking and working are taught. The consideration of natural science, humanities and social science perspectives on development and learning from a sports pedagogical, sports sociological and sports psychological point of view enables students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concept of development in different contexts.

In the natural science and humanities seminars, the acquired knowledge is scientifically deepened and critically categorised within the framework of various sports science perspectives.

The aim of the module is to gain a reflective perspective on dealing with people with special needs through basic scientific and application-orientated questions.

  • M3 Developmental diagnostics and support in sport

    Courses:

    • Lecture Developmental diagnostics and support in sport
    • Seminar Methods of developmental diagnostics and support in sport
    • Seminar on the practice of developmental diagnostics and support in sport

Building on Module 2 (Developmental Theory Basics), theoretical and practical basics of psychomotor and socio-emotional diagnostics and support are taught. Against the background of the holistic, interdisciplinary view of movement, common diagnostic terms and the application of various methods are introduced. Students learn about the theoretical and practical selection, implementation and evaluation in the context of content-related questions in the accompanying seminars (methods and practice of developmental diagnostics and support).

The aim of the module is to assess the individual developmental status of children and young people, derive recommendations for specific support needs and professionally understand the role of a special needs teacher within the diagnostic and support process.
