IT Committee

The IT Committee is responsible for ensuring the user-friendly and economic operation of the IT system as a whole and makes the necessary fundamental and individual decisions. It is supported by three thematic working groups (Research & IT, Study and Teaching & IT, Administration & IT). The IT Committee has been directly assigned to the Rectorate and Senate.

IT Governance Regulation (Date 05.09.2024)

The IT Committee consists of the following persons with voting rights:

• the Rector or a Vice-Rector
• the Head of Administration
• the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
• one person appointed by the Rectorate for two years
• one representative per status group elected by the Senate
• one chair of each of the three working groups

The IT Committee includes in an advisory capacity:

• the Data Protection Officer
• the CISO
• the management of the ULB
• the management of the CIT
• the chair of the IT management board
