PARI - Psychological Aspects of Refugee Integration

PARI is a joint research initiative of six working units of the Department of psychology, University of Münster. The initiative aims at a better understanding of the psychological processes (e.g., identity, perceptual, interactive, relationship development processes) underlying a more or less successful integration of refugees into society. Unique features of our initiative concern (1) a multidisciplinary perspective across different basic and applied psychological sciences, (2) a dual-process perspective that simultaneously targeting (des)integration processes from the perspective of refugees and the host society, and (3) an explicit comparison and disentangling of processes unique to refugee integration from those shared with the integration of migrants in general. See the PARI website for details and news.
