ZIN welcomes Prof. Martin Winter as a new member

At the first meeting of the ZIN-members in 2019, the ZIN welcomed Prof. Martin Winter as a new member. Prof. Winter is the scientific leader of the MEET Battery Research Centre, which conducts basic research on the topic of "high-performance energy storage systems" and conducts work on corresponding industrial applications at the same time. The chemist has dedicated his research to electrochemical energy storage and conversion for more than 25 years, with a focus on "the development of new materials, components and cell designs for supercapacitors, lithium ion and lithium metal batteries".

With the admission of Prof. Winter, the ZIN is positioning itself even more strongly in the field of the natural sciences - this development had already begun at the end of 2018 with the admission of Prof. Bodo Phillip, Prof'in Cornelia Denz, Prof. Christian Kray and Dr. Dielmann.
