“Münsteraner Gespräche zum Umwelt- und Planungsrecht” in March will focus on current developments in energy and climate law

In December 2018, large parts of the European legislative package "Clean Energy for All Europeans", which sets a new legislative framework for European energy and climate policy until 2030, came into force. The Renewable Energies Directive, the Energy Efficiency Directive and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive have been comprehensively amended and flanked by new legal acts on the European internal energy market. These sectoral energy and climate protection regulations are interlinked by the new regulation on the governance system for the Energy Union and climate protection. The event will present and evaluate current legal developments at the European level. In a concluding panel discussion on national and European energy and climate protection planning, the perspectives of the Federal Climate Protection Act announced for 2019 will also be discussed.
Further information can be found in the event program.
