PDF file type association

If you are no longer able to open pdf-files, a one-time reconfiguration of the file type assignment is necessary.

For this you need to right click any pdf-file and choose Open with - Choose standardprogram...

 

 

Click on Search...

 

Navigate to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Acrobat (with 64bit) or C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Acrobat (with 32bit).
Click on Acrobat.exe and then on Open.

 

 

Confirm with OK.

Rightclick the pdf-file and click on Open with again.
Now the Adobe Acrobat DC should be available, please click on it.

 

 

All pdf-files should now open with Adobe Acrobat by default again.
