Introduction to the Administration of PCs in the IVV Naturwissenschaften, This week's topic: IT-Sicherheit

On Thursday (21-MAY-2026), the lecture "Introduction to the administration of computers in the IVV Naturwissenschaften" will focus on the topic of
 
IT-Sicherheit.
 
 The presentation will be in german.
 
 The lecture will take place in ComputerLab 745 of the Institute of Solid State Theory, Building IG1, Wilhelm-Klemm-Str. 10 starting at 10:15 am.

nwzCitrix is now Apps

As the final step in the Scientific Cloud (SC) migration to SCIT, the "Citrix" terminal server has also been moved.

It is accessible at apps.nwz.wwu.de since the beginning of the year, and all apps and most desktops have been migrated from nwzCitrix to the new apps platform. All users were notified of the migration when accessing nwzcitrix.nwz.wwu.de.

As of March 31, 2026, the old apps and desktops at nwzcitrix.nwz.wwu.de are no longer available, and on April 22, 2026, the old platform was permanently shut down and deleted.

If you notice anything missing on the new system, please contact the hotline.
