Dilhani Munasinghe is a Senior Assistant Librarian at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM), University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she has served since 2007. She holds an MPhil in Library and Information Science (University of Colombo, 2023) and an MSSc (University of Kelaniya, 2011). She is a Fellow of the Sri Lanka Library Association and a member of the Medical Library Association (USA) and the Publication Committee of ASIS&T.

She has served as General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Library Association (2022/2023) and as Editor-in-Chief of the Sri Lanka Library Review (2023–2025). Her research interests include medical information-seeking behaviour, health literacy, systematic reviews, and healthcare information systems. She has published in indexed journals and received multiple awards, including Senate Research Excellence Awards (2018, 2019, 2025), Second Place in the ASIS&T SIG-III International Paper Contest (2024), and a Best Paper Award at Bharathidasan University (2025). She conducts workshops on literature searching, systematic reviews, and research publishing for healthcare professionals. Her current research focuses on improving health information access and systems in Sri Lanka.
