Archive

Each version of a document is stored in the archive. Even if documents are deleted from the desktop or from the clearance list, they remain stored in the archive until they are explicitly deleted there.

The archive is of interest to the user only if content or a whole document was deleted by mistake. In the archive you will find the last saved version. You can get a view of all versions of a document by clicking on the document name and expanding it, so to speak. You can load the most recent or one of the earlier versions of the document back onto the desktop by clicking "Import" in the drop-down menu next to the document.

You can select and import or delete one or more documents/versions using the checkbox (for multiple documents/versions) or the drop-down menu (for one document/version).
When deleting documents in the archive, you should be absolutely sure that you do not need the document anymore. You must also make sure that you have previously deleted the document from the production system, i.e. first from the desktop and then from the work clearance list or from the list of released documents, depending on the status of the document.

NOTE

If a document has been deleted from the archive, it cannot be restored.
