Sascha Beutler (Uni Münster): Motion compensation in microscopy using algebraic surface fitting
Wednesday, 24.01.2024 14:15 im Raum M5
In microscopy of vessels in living organisms, the observation time is limited due to the deformation and displacement of the vessel caused by the heartbeat and respiration. In this talk, we introduce a mathematical model that calculates the three-dimensional, time-dependent shape of the vessel. Knowing the shape, the focal plane of the microscope can be stabilized which allows for a longer observation time at high imaging frame rates.
