The pro-p Iwahori-Hecke Ext-algebra E* is a graded algebra, first introduced and studied by Ollivier-Schneider, that appears naturally in the study of the category of smooth mod p representations of p-adic reductive groups. In this talk, I will give some motivation for studying E* and I will talk about the algebraic properties of E* I have been trying to understand.
