Due to the current state of the coronavirus pandemic, the organizational partners responsible for hosting the Paris Schleiermacher Congress in early June 2020 have decided to postpone the conference by one year.
According to current information, even if the travel and assembly restrictions were to be eased in some countries by June, it would not be possible to hold the conference without concerns – especially with respect to participants belonging to a high-risk group for whom even a slight possibility of infection is unjustifiable.
The congress will therefore be postponed to the week after Pentecost in the coming year; the new date is May 25-28, 2021. We kindly ask you to reserve this date on your calendars. Bookings and reservations already made should be canceled or rebooked. On May 29, 2021, those who wish to stay in Paris longer will still have the opportunity to tour the Latin Quarter. Please take this into account when changing your booking.
We appreciate the understanding of all who looked forward to and prepared for this congress. And we look forward to meeting you in May 2021. Stay healthy!
