      2001-2007: study of musicology, English, Arabic, and Islamic studies (WWU Münster). 2007-2009: teaching assignments at the department of Arabic and Islamic studies as well as at the department of musicology (WWU Münster). 2009 -2010: research assistant and 2010-1012: research associate at the department of musical research (JMU Würzburg). 2012-2013: research associate at the department of musicology (WWU Münster). 2013-2016: research assistant at the chair of ethnomusicology at the department of musical reseach (JMU Würzburg). Since April 2016: research assistant at the CMO-Project (WWU Münster).
