The University of Münster's School of Business and Economics student association has awarded its annual Teaching Prize to lecturers who have made outstanding contributions to teaching. Based on student evaluations, the prize recognises excellence in both content and delivery, and highlights professors who have truly inspired their students.

For the first time this year, the award was given to a guest professor. Prof. Dr. Luiz Felipe Scavarda, a Brazilian Visiting International Professor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), and Prof. Dr. Bernd Hellingrath, Chair of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and Academic Director of the Brazil Centre at the University of Münster, won the prize in the Bachelor of Computer Sciences programme. They were honoured for their joint Supply Chain Logistics Management course as part of the Bachelor's degree programme in Information Systems.

Prof. Dr. Scavarda has been a regular guest lecturer at the University of Münster for many years, actively contributing to teaching and collaborating with the Department of Information Systems on research projects.

The Brazil Centre at the University of Münster congratulates Prof. Dr. Scavarda and Prof. Dr. Bernd Hellingrath on this well-deserved recognition. It highlights the growing importance of international cooperation in research and teaching.
