Can you explain the essence of your research in just one minute? Whether at a conference, networking event, poster session, or job interview, being able to communicate your work clearly and concisely is a valuable skill for every researcher. In this compact and practical session, Matthias will introduce key strategies for developing an engaging scientific pitch that captures attention, communicates the significance of your research, and leaves a memorable impression. Participants will learn how to structure a clear and concise pitch, adapt it to different audiences, and avoid common communication pitfalls. The session is suitable for researchers at all career stages who wish to strengthen their science communication and presentation skills. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end of the session. On 31st August you will have the chance for a practical, in-person training.
