Vaccinations at the WWU

In December 2021, a total of 8,352 people, many of whom were students and employees of the University of Münster, received their first, second or booster vaccinations at the WWU. The seven-day coronavirus vaccination campaign entitled “Operation Nadelbaum” was carried out by students and doctors of the Faculty of Medicine and assisted by administrative staff.

For those who are still interested in receiving a shot or booster, there are numerous vaccination slots available at the Münster vaccination centre. The In-House Medical Service of the WWU is receiving very limited shipments of vaccine at the moment because vaccination centres are now prioritised for vaccine deliveries. Furthermore, the pending vaccination mandate could result in additional need for vaccines in the medical sector.

Therefore, we ask WWU students and employees who are still interested in receiving their vaccination to arrange an appointment with the municipal vaccination centre.
