UNIcert® - level III

Objective	Graduates of the UNIcert® III program shall be exceptionally well-prepared to meet the linguistic demands of studying and living in a country where the target language is spoken.
Languages	German as a Foreign Language (DaF), French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish
Academic Fields / Subject Areas	Humanities and Social Sciences, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Law, and Economics (depending on the target language).
Assessment Requirements	Cumulative (4 components; 3 for DaF \| see study plans below) plus final exam. The UNIcert® III certificate corresponds to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Prerequisites / Assessment requirements	Level of proficiency: Advanced proficiency in the foreign language Placement: Proof of prior knowledge is provided via the C-Test (for required scores, see specific language). Additional details: For further information, please refer to the study plans below.
Duration	A minimum of two semesters; for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and French, completion within a single semester is also possible.

Course hours	Minimum of 8 SWS (contact hours per week)
Organization & fees	The courses may be taken in any order. Course attendance is free of charge. A final examination fee of 40 € applies.
