On the following page you will find information about final exams in the work area "Education and Culture in Sport".

  • Theses

On this page, you will find information about theses (BA/MA).

For theses in teacher education (BA/MA), the topic database is available to you.

Guidelines and further information on writing theses in the “Education and Culture” department can be found in the guide to writing theses. This guide is based on the general requirements of the Registrar’s Office and the guidelines of other departments within the School of Sport Science.

When planning and preparing your thesis, please take into account the date on which you intend to complete your studies or transition to the Master’s program. To this end, the “Education and Culture” department provides a timeline for Bachelor’s theses — based on the example enrollment in the winter semester — and a timeline for Master’s theses — based on the example entry into the preparatory service (NRW) in May. These schedules are intended as a guide and were created by the Education and Culture in Sport department. Currently binding deadlines must be verified independently, for example on the Examination Office’s website.

    • Jun.Prof. Helga Leineweber

In particular, voice recorders can be borrowed there for recording interviews. You can find transcription software options for transcribing your interviews here.
