Integration of refugee children and young people (ASV Senden)

The social integration of children and young people with a migration background in club sports is always a major challenge. The barriers to entry in the club are perceived to be very high for refugees and the associated opportunities for living integration are given away. In addition, many athletic talents are not recognized, promoted and developed with their potential. The children and young people suffer from educational and social disadvantages, so that a way should be found to overcome these hurdles and to integrate children or young people into the club in the long term.

Within the framework of a staged concept, the aim is to
a) the hurdles to entry into club sports are to be structurally evaluated and solutions sought for their elimination.
b) The solutions found are to be introduced and established through practice-oriented localization.
c) the sustainable anchoring in club sports will be evaluated.

Structurally and financially, the project is supported by the handball department of ASV Senden and the Flüchtlingshilfe Senden. The project is initially designed for half a year (start: beginning of 2024).

For the integration project a wiss. Accompaniment is sought. If you are interested, please contact us for further information.
